Does person x really hate pairing q, or do they just want all their favorite writers to write pairing z? Or write pairing q *their* way?

Maybe someone could set up a kind of charity ward, where persons deprived of their fan fictional needs could receive injections of het/slash/gen as needed?
A nice slash ward would be of use to me quite often. Nobody understands my Snape/Neville needs. ::sniff::
